Heroineburgh Comics

Set in the modern-day steel city of Pittsburgh, Heroineburgh Comics launched in 2019 from the eponymous Heroineburgh Comics, a small press dedicated to female-led superheroics. Across its first two issues, artist Jason Wright helped bring to life a diverse cast of local heroines, each with distinct powers and personalities, fighting for justice in a gritty urban landscape. The series stands as a passionate, creator-owned love letter to classic superhero tropes, filtered through a proudly independent and regional lens.
