Hoeraland
Dupuis · 1997–1998 · 2 issues
About the series
In the late 1990s, Dupuis published this short-lived two-issue series, a work most associated with writer and artist André Geerts. A fantastical and whimsical tale set in the titular land, it explores themes of imagination and childhood through Geerts' characteristically warm, detailed ligne claire style. Though brief, Hoeraland stands as a charming, lesser-known entry in the European comics tradition.
