Homunculus

In the dark corners of São Paulo, Homunculus (2008–2014) is a Brazilian horror comic from Panini Brasil that explores the monstrous consequences of a secret eugenics experiment. Over 15 issues, the series follows a group of characters haunted by grotesque, surgically altered beings—the titular homunculi—as they unravel a conspiracy tied to the city's elite. Closely associated with writer and artist Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá, the series stands out for its visceral, black-and-white art and its unflinching look at social inequality through a body-horror lens.
