Hondjurets samlade värk

About the series
In this two-issue Swedish series from Alfabeta, cartoonist Joakim Pirinen collects his early, raw, and absurdist newspaper strips and short comics from the 1980s and '90s. Known for his frantic, expressionistic line and surreal, often grotesque humor, Pirinen's work here captures the unpolished energy that made him a cult figure in Scandinavian alternative comics. Though brief in its collected form, Hondjurets samlade värk serves as a vital document of a distinctive, anarchic voice in European comics.
