Hsu and Chan

From 2003 to 2009, Slave Labor Graphics published Hsu and Chan, a quirky, eight-issue comic series that blended slice-of-life humor with surreal, often absurd adventures. Created by writer/artist Tom Beland, the series followed the misadventures of its titular characters—a pair of roommates navigating the mundane and the bizarre—with a warm, offbeat charm that made it a cult favorite among indie comics fans.
