Infidel

A taut, chilling horror series from Image Comics, Infidel (2018–present) follows a Muslim American woman who moves into a haunted apartment building in New York City, only to find its supernatural terrors are entangled with the xenophobia and racism of her neighbors. Writer Pornsak Pichetshote and artist Aaron Campbell craft a claustrophobic, politically charged ghost story that uses the genre to explore the real-world horrors of bigotry and displacement. Though only a single issue in, it immediately established itself as a vital, unnerving addition to modern horror comics.
