About the series
In the early 1970s, Semic brought Swedish readers a short-lived but visually striking series, Jaktfalkarna. Over five issues, the stories were primarily written by French master Jean-Michel Charlier, with artwork split between the legendary Albert Uderzo and the accomplished Jijé—two giants of the European bande dessinée tradition. Though brief, the series stands as a fascinating, lesser-known collaboration between these iconic talents, offering a glimpse of their work outside their most famous creations.
