James Bond Agent 007

Normic Press · 1965–1966 · 6 issues
About the series

John McLusky’s clean, dynamic art defined this mid-1960s Normic Press series, which adapted Ian Fleming’s original James Bond novels into comic form over six issues. Scripted primarily by Henry Gammidge, with Fleming himself credited as co-writer, the strip brought 007’s early cinematic-era adventures to the page with a faithful, no-nonsense espionage tone. Though short-lived, it remains a key artifact of Bond’s transition from prose to visual media, capturing the character’s Cold War grit before the films fully took over.
