Janosik

Based on the Polish folk hero, Janosik is a comic series from Biuro Wydawniczo-Propagandowe that began in 1974 and ran for three issues. Writer Tadeusz Kwiatkowski and artist Jerzy Skarżyński brought this legendary outlaw to life, chronicling his adventures as a 19th-century bandit who famously robbed the rich to aid the poor. It stands as a notable Polish comic adaptation of a classic national figure.
