Jesse James Comics

A gritty, nine-issue Western series published by Thorpe & Porter from 1952 onward, Jesse James Comics followed the outlaw's exploits with a tough, no-frills approach. The book is most notable for its rotating roster of accomplished artists, including Joe Kubert, Everett Raymond Kinstler, and Mo Marcus, who brought a raw energy to the Old West.
