About the series
Launched by IPC in 1971, Jet was a short-lived but punchy British comic that ran for 22 issues, blending sci-fi, adventure, and war strips under the steady hand of writer Tom Tully and artist Eric Bradbury. Its brisk, kinetic storytelling and Bradbury’s dynamic, gritty art gave the title a distinctive energy, making it a cult favorite among fans of vintage UK weeklies. Though brief, Jet remains a snapshot of early-1970s IPC ambition, showcasing the creative partnership that would later define longer-running series.
