Jinx

Jinx (2012–2013) is a two-issue miniseries from Archie Comics, a short-lived but sharp character-driven crime story set in a small-town noir atmosphere. Written by J. Torres and illustrated by Rick Burchett, the series follows a down-on-her-luck waitress drawn into a web of deceit and violence after a chance encounter with a mysterious drifter. Though brief, Jinx stands out for its moody, dialogue-heavy take on the genre and Burchett's expressive, cinematic art, offering a mature counterpoint to Archie's more typical teen fare.
