In this 2020–2021 Storm King Productions miniseries, legendary filmmaker John Carpenter teams with writer Duane Swierczynski and artist Juanan Ramírez to expand his anthology of sci-fi horror. Vortex 2.0 follows a hardened space salvage crew who discover a derelict vessel carrying an ancient, malevolent intelligence that begins to warp reality around them. A taut, claustrophobic eight-issue run, it channels Carpenter’s signature dread and cosmic unease into a compact, visceral comic experience.
