Joselito

Joselito, published by Mon Journal from 1979 to 1982, is a 12-issue Franco-Belgian comic series that follows the adventures of its titular young hero, a spirited boy navigating a world of gentle mischief and everyday wonder. While the series is most closely associated with its creator, artist and writer François Craenhals, its warm, lighthearted tone and charmingly simple linework capture a nostalgic, pastoral innocence. Though brief in its run, Joselito endures as a fondly remembered example of European children's comics from the late '70s and early '80s.
