Julie on the Night Train

Guillaume Berteloot, writing and drawing under the name Hugdebert, launched this single-issue European comic from European Pictures Publishing in 1990. A moody, self-contained tale set largely on a night train, it follows a character named Julie through a quiet, atmospheric journey. Though it has remained a one-shot, its distinct, personal vision has kept it a quietly remembered entry in the publisher's catalog.
