Jungle Adventures

During its brief 1963–1964 run from I. W. Publishing / Super Comics, Jungle Adventures offered five issues of untamed, straightforward action in the classic jungle-comic tradition. Writer Manning Stokes and a rotating team of artists including Edmond Good, Louis Ravielli, and Stan Ford delivered a no-frills series that captured the pulp spirit of the era without the bombast of its superhero contemporaries. While never a major hit, it stands as a tidy snapshot of early-1960s genre comics, where the wilderness itself was the star.
