About the series
In 2015, Mark Millar and artists Wilfredo Torres and Davide Gianfelice launched Jupiter's Circle at Image Comics, a six-issue series that reimagines the Silver Age of superheroes with a human, flawed core. Set in the 1950s and 1960s, it explores the private lives and moral compromises of a team of god-like heroes, revealing the tensions between their public glory and personal failings. This prequel to Millar's Jupiter's Legacy matters for its grounded, character-driven take on the genre, treating its iconic figures as complex people rather than untouchable icons.
