About the series

During its 1989–1993 run, DC’s Justice League Europe spun off from the popular Justice League International era, sending a team of heroes—including The Flash, Power Girl, and the Elongated Man—to operate from a Paris embassy. Written primarily by Gerard Jones, Keith Giffen, and J. M. DeMatteis, with art by Giffen, Bart Sears, and Ron Randall, the series balanced cosmic threats with the character-driven humor that defined the League’s late-’80s heyday. It expanded the Justice League’s global scope while deepening the personalities of its members, making it a fondly remembered chapter in DC’s superhero landscape.
