From 2001 to 2004, Panini Deutschland published Kamikaze, a seven-issue German comic series that blends high-octane action with a dark, psychological edge. The series follows a former Japanese kamikaze pilot who, after World War II, is recruited into a secret organization to carry out seemingly impossible missions, grappling with his past and a world that has moved on.
