Kansas Thunder

From 1997 to the present, Red Menace Comics has published only four issues of Kansas Thunder, a slow-burning series most often written by Jared Osborn, who also shared art duties with Edward Murr. Set in the American heartland, the book carves out a quiet, idiosyncratic space in late-90s indie comics, offering a deliberately sparse but resonant take on its characters and setting.
