Kara Ben Nemsi [Karl May avonturen]

Based on the Karl May novels, this Dutch-language comic series from Bell Studio follows the adventures of the intrepid traveler Kara Ben Nemsi. Writer and artist Ben Abas brought the character to life in two issues, beginning in 1949. Though short-lived, the series represents an early European adaptation of May's popular adventure fiction into the comics medium.
