Karzan

A Dutch-language series from Belgian publisher De Schorpioen, Karzan ran for 35 issues between 1978 and 1980, spinning jungle adventure tales in the tradition of the genre. The series is most associated with artist and co-creator Pino van Lamsweerde, whose dynamic, expressive artwork defined the look of the title. While never reaching the iconic status of its inspirations, Karzan stands as a notable example of late-70s European adventure comics, offering a complete, self-contained run of pulp-tinged stories.
