About the series
In 1993 and 1994, Marvel Comics released a three-issue series adapting the animated adventure King Arthur and the Knights of Justice, with Rick Parker and Mike Lackey scripting and Parker alongside Keith Wilson on art. The story reimagines the Arthurian legend through a time-travel twist: a modern-day football player named Arthur King and his team are transported to Camelot, where they must pose as the legendary king and his knights to battle the sorceress Morgana and her ally Lord Blackwing.
