About the series
From 1950 onward, Feature Publications brought the adventures of Sergeant King of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to comics, spinning off from the popular newspaper strip. This 26-issue series, most closely associated with the artwork of Alex Raymond and later, Frank Doyle, delivered straightforward, action-packed crime-fighting tales set against the rugged Canadian wilderness. It stands as a solid example of the post-war adventure comic, offering clean, dramatic storytelling in a classic lawman mold.
