In 1993, the German publisher CCH - Comic Club Hannover revived the classic Italian Western series Kinowa for a third series, collecting and continuing the adventures of the mysterious, masked hero of the Old West. Primarily written by Andrea Lavezzolo and illustrated by the legendary art studio EsseGesse—the same team behind the character's original 1950s run—this 20-issue series brought a beloved European fumetti icon to a new generation of readers. It matters as a faithful, long-running reprint and continuation project that preserved the gritty, atmospheric storytelling and dynamic artwork of one of Italy's most influential Western comics.
