Kit Carson (1957–1962), published by Kustannus Oy Timantti, follows the legendary frontiersman through 67 issues of Western adventure. Artist Peter Gallant was the most frequent contributor to this Finnish comic series, which brought the iconic American scout to a European audience during the genre's peak popularity. A distinctive blend of historical derring-do and serialized storytelling, this series remains a notable example of how Western comics crossed cultural borders in the mid-20th century.
