Kit der Ranger

In the late 1980s, German publisher Groth revived the classic Western adventure strip for a new generation with Kit der Ranger (1987–1990), a 20-issue series most strongly associated with the prolific artist Hansrudi Wäscher. Following the daring exploits of the titular frontiersman, the series delivered straightforward, action-packed tales steeped in the tradition of European cowboy comics. It stands as a notable late-era example of Wäscher’s long career, bringing a familiar pulp hero to a dedicated readership.
