Kommissar Strichmann

In Kommissar Strichmann (2006–2009), the German independent publisher Buddelfisch presented a quirky, self-contained detective series across ten issues. Created by an uncredited team, the strip follows the methodical, perhaps eccentric, Inspector Strichmann through a series of understated, character-driven cases. Its modest, offbeat charm and limited run have made it a cult footnote in European alternative comics.
