In 1978, Italian publisher Nuova Generazione S.r.l. launched La Città Futura Fumetto, an eight-issue comics series that served as a bold, experimental platform for avant-garde storytelling. Most frequently written by Luigi Bernardi, the series blended political commentary with surreal, visually inventive narratives, reflecting the creative ferment of late-1970s Italian alternative comics.
