Laff-A-Lympics Annual
World Distributors · 1980–1982 · 2 issues
About the series
From 1980 to 1982, World Distributors released just two issues of Laff-A-Lympics Annual, a comic tie-in to the Hanna-Barbera animated series. Scripted primarily by Mark Evanier, with art from Jack Manning and Owen Fitzgerald, the annuals captured the slapstick competition between the Scooby-Doo, Yogi Bear, and Really Rotten teams. Though short-lived, this UK-published series stands as a colorful artifact of late-era Hanna-Barbera humor, preserving the goofy, team-based rivalry that defined the original cartoon.
