Lawrence & Lim's Ex-Mutants

From 1987, Pied Piper Comics published Ex-Mutants, a three-issue series written by David Lawrence, David Campiti, and Mark Hamlin, with art by the prolific Ron Lim. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, it follows a team of genetically engineered heroes—distinct from typical mutants—fighting to survive and protect the remnants of civilization.
