Le Trident

In the late 1950s, S.E.G. (Société d'Editions Générales) published Le Trident, a short-lived French comic series that ran for 13 issues. This anthology title is most notable for featuring the early work of artist Jean Giraud (later famous as Moebius), who contributed to its pages before his rise to international acclaim. A snapshot of a transitional era in European comics, Le Trident offers a glimpse into the pre-Métal Hurlant landscape.
