Lepakkomies

In 1969, Kuvajulkaisut launched Lepakkomies, the Finnish translation of the Batman series, adapting the Dark Knight's adventures for a new audience. Running for 15 issues, the series drew primarily on the work of American talents like writers Frank Robbins, Bob Haney, and Bob Kanigher, alongside artists Bob Brown, Irv Novick, and the legendary Neal Adams. This title served as a key entry point for Finnish readers into the mythos of the Caped Crusader during a transformative era for the character.
