About the series
A short-lived 1970s Finnish comic series from Semic, Lepakkomies—literally "Batman"—presented 13 issues of the Dark Knight's adventures in translation. The series drew primarily on the work of American writers David V. Reed, Denny O'Neil, and Bob Haney, with art by Ernie Chua, Jim Aparo, and Irv Novick, offering a compact but representative snapshot of Batman's Bronze Age era for Finnish readers. Though brief, it stands as a notable early effort to bring the Caped Crusader to a Finnish audience in his own dedicated title.
