Les carnets de l'aventure

In 2019, Belgian publisher Éditions du Tiroir launched Les carnets de l'aventure, a compact series of three comic albums that revisits the spirit of classic adventure serials through a modern European lens. Each volume, created by a different artistic team, presents a self-contained expedition story—from jungle treks to polar explorations—unified by the theme of discovery and the allure of the unknown. Though brief in its run, the series stands as a thoughtful homage to the Tintin and Corto Maltese tradition, celebrating the art of travelogue storytelling with lush, detailed artwork and a sense of historical wonder.
