Les léviathans

A short-lived but ambitious two-issue series from French publisher Les Humanoïdes Associés, Les léviathans (1982–1990) explores a vast, surreal world of colossal creatures and human-scale conflict. Though its run was brief, the series is remembered for its striking, otherworldly visuals and the dense, atmospheric storytelling typical of the publisher's European science-fiction and fantasy output.
