Les Micronautes

In its eight-issue run from 1980 to 1983, Arédit-Artima’s Les Micronautes brought the Marvel Comics property Micronauts to French readers, adapting the original series as written primarily by Bill Mantlo. The artwork, a highlight of the era, was most often handled by Michael Golden, Joe Rubinstein, and Howard Chaykin, giving the book a distinctive, detailed look that captured the miniature sci-fi adventure of its toy-inspired heroes. This French edition matters as a key international release, preserving the creative energy of Mantlo and Golden’s collaboration for a European audience.
