About the series
From 1953, World Distributors launched a three-issue Looney Tunes comic series that brought the beloved Warner Bros. cartoon characters to British newsstands. Don R. Christensen wrote the antics, while artists Ralph Heimdahl and Tony Strobl rendered the slapstick visuals, capturing the anarchic spirit of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and their cohorts. Though brief, this series stands as an early example of the internationally licensed comic adaptations that would become a staple of the medium.
