Luchthelden

Luchthelden, a Dutch comic series launched in 1966 by Zuid-Nederlandse Uitgeverij (ZNU), ran for only three issues. Though brief, this series stands as a curious early example of European superhero storytelling, blending local folklore with the burgeoning international fascination with caped crusaders. Its creators remain largely uncredited in the public record, but the series is remembered by collectors for its distinctive, pulp-infused art and its place in the small but dedicated tradition of Dutch-language superhero comics.
