About the series
A spinoff of the popular Lupo series, Lupo modern ran for five issues from 1966, published by Gevacur. The series follows the further adventures of the wolf character in a contemporary setting, with Belgian cartoonist Marcel Remacle serving as both its primary writer and artist, often working alongside Riccardo Rinaldi. Though brief, it represents an early attempt to update a classic European anthropomorphic animal comic for modern readers.
