About the series
In 2007, Paul Dini and Kenneth Rocafort brought a sleek, noir-infused superhero thriller to Image Comics with Madame Mirage. The six-issue series follows Harper Temple and her vigilante alter ego, Madame Mirage, as she wages a shadow war against a corrupt technocratic elite led by Abraham Coyle. Rocafort’s dynamic, cinematic art and Dini’s sharp, character-driven storytelling gave the book a distinctive pop-noir edge. Though brief, the series remains a striking showcase for two talents at the top of their game.
