A four-issue series from Reiner-Feest-Verlag, Made in USA (1989–1991) brought together an international creative team for a distinctly European take on American comic tropes. With scripts by Bruce Jones, Georg Tempel, and Klaus Jöken, and moody, evocative art from Mike Ploog, Tom Yeates, and John Totleben, the series stands as a compelling, if brief, collaboration between German and American talent at the turn of the decade.
