Mainstream

A two-issue series from the mid-1990s, Mainstream was published by Tuatara Press, a short-lived imprint of Image Comics. Written by Cornelius Stone and Simon Rattray, with art by Paul Rogers and Rattray, the series offered a self-aware, satirical look at the comic book industry and its tropes. Its brief run remains a curious footnote from the era of creator-owned experimentation.
