About the series
In the mid-1990s, Viz Media brought Rumiko Takahashi's beloved romantic comedy Maison Ikkoku to English-speaking readers for the first time. This 14-issue series adapts the classic manga about the chaotic residents of a boarding house, centered on the will-they-won't-they relationship between the boisterous manager, Kyoko, and the struggling student, Yusaku.
