Margie Comics
Marvel · 1946–1949 · 15 issues
About the series
From 1946 to 1949, Marvel (then known as Timely Comics) published Margie Comics, a lighthearted 15-issue series centering on the titular teenage heroine and her friends Cindy Smith and Patsy Walker. Primarily written and illustrated by Morris Weiss, with contributions from a young Stan Lee, the book offered wholesome, gag-driven adventures that epitomized the post-war "teen humor" genre. While not a landmark title, it serves as a charming snapshot of mid-century American comics and the early evolution of Marvel's approach to character-driven slice-of-life storytelling.
