Marshal Law
Marvel · 1987–1989 · 6 issues
About the series
In a dystopian near-future, the titular Marshal Law—a masked, black-clad bounty hunter—wages a brutal, one-man war against the corrupt superheroes who have turned San Francisco into a lawless war zone. Written primarily by Archie Goodwin and drawn by Kevin O'Neill, this six-issue Marvel series from the late 1980s is a savage, satirical deconstruction of the superhero genre, blending dark humor with visceral, O'Neill's grotesque artwork. Its unflinching critique of power and celebrity makes it a cult touchstone for fans of mature, anti-hero comics.
