About the series
Marvel Comic-Stars (1981–1985, Condor) was a 25-issue anthology series that repackaged classic Marvel stories for international audiences, primarily in the Condor market. Featuring reprints and occasional new material, the series drew from the talents of Stan Lee, Marv Wolfman, and Bill Mantlo as writers, with art by industry legends Jack Kirby, Herb Trimpe, and Alan Kupperberg. It served as an accessible entry point for readers outside the U.S. to experience Marvel’s core superhero adventures during the early 1980s.
