About the series
Marvel's second volume of Marvel Spotlight (1979–1981) shifted focus from tryout features to solo stories for fan-favorite characters, running eleven issues under Marvel's banner. The series is best remembered for its creative team of writers Doug Moench, Bill Mantlo, and Marv Wolfman, paired with artists Steve Ditko, Pat Broderick, and Tom Sutton. It provided a showcase for underused heroes and villains, offering a snapshot of late-1970s Marvel storytelling without introducing major new characters.
