About the series
In 1987, DC Comics launched a nine-issue series based on the toyline and animated show M.A.S.K., chronicling the high-octane adventures of a mobile armored strike force battling the criminal organization V.E.N.O.M. Writer Michael Fleisher and artist Curt Swan, both DC veterans, were the creative team most associated with the series, which blended espionage and transforming vehicles in a short-lived but energetic tie-in.
