About the series
From 2004 onward, Image Comics revived the classic Masters of the Universe franchise with a short two-issue run. This series, primarily written by Emiliano Santalucia, Val Staples, and Leanne Shaw Hannah, and illustrated by Fabio Laguna and Shaw Hannah, brought He-Man and his allies back to modern comic shelves. While brief, it marked a notable return for the property outside of its original publisher, offering a fresh take for fans of the eternal battle between good and evil on Eternia.
